Sanaa is an African, Indian Cuisine themed restaurant located within the Kidani Village at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have enjoyed Sanaa several times for both lunch and dinner and it is in our top must do dining reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Here are just a few of the reasons why we love Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and why we think you will too.
The Location
One of the perks of dining at other resorts is that you can explore the resort either before or after your meal. The Animal Kingdom Lodge consists of two main buildings, Jambo House and Kidani Village. What makes this resort unique is that both buildings overlook a huge savanna that includes many different animals that you would expect to see in a true African savanna, minus the predators of course.
Both buildings offer covered and open areas to view the animals. There are so many, in fact, that we often find a place all to ourselves to sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery.
Delicious Food at Sanaa!
If you talk to anyone that has eaten at Sanaa, the first thing they will mention is the Indian-style Bread Service. The Bread Service is available for both lunch and dinner. The service includes five Naan breads along with nine accompaniments to try.

We have found all of our meals at Sanaa simply delicious. Even for picky eaters Sanaa is a great chance to step outside of the ordinary food you may find in the parks and experience something different. The butter chicken is simply amazing!

The Views at Sanaa
We highly recommend requesting a table by the window. Sanaa is located right off the savanna with beautiful views of the animals just a few yards away. You may even have a couple of visitors come in for a closer look at you!
A visit here is a must on your next Walt Disney World vacation! Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort with lots to offer outside of Sanaa.
